Design a social message

Wavespot makes it easy for customers using the WiFi to share social messages about a business with all their onlinefriends. This custom message can be designed by the business to include graphics, checkins, links to content and much more. A good social message should have the following elements:

  • Checkin message should provide value to both the customer and their friends.

  • Highlight the unique nature of your business. Customers are more likely to share a checkin message if it resonates with them.

  • A checkin message should be fresh. Make use of the Wavespot scheduler to rotate multiple messages throughout the week.

  • Insert links to loyalty programs and special charities that you are supporting.

To better understand how to configure your social message, follow the simple guide below:

Can be accessed from User Settings → Social Message on the top menu bar.

Permissions

Every time a patron logs into your Wavespot network using his Facebook credentials, a certain message gets posted on his timeline, informing his friends that he’s is using free Internet at your location. Usually, Wavespot publishes the message on the patron’s timeline immediately after the login. However, you can also decide if your patrons need to explicitly give permission every time a message gets posted on his timeline, or should it be automatic. If you decide to do so, this is how the permission message will look like –
